I know some of you might be getting tired of hearing us tease and tease you about all of the super exciting things we have planned for you all in the upcoming months....but-trust me-you won't be disappointed! There are a lot of ways to stay tuned about all of the new events that are starting to unfold around here besides this wonderful blog and our e-mail newsletter is one of them! We send them out via e-mail only twice a month so it won't feel like your inbox is getting too cluttered. Our newsletter is basically a place where we get to rave about new yarns and other knitting related products, featured kits, and a re-cap of what's been on our Beans' needles lately. It's also a way to be notified about hot new sales and contests!
The first of the month's newsletter is a highlight of the Lorna's Laces Limited Edition color of the month while the middle of the month's newsletter is a highlight of the "kits of the month" (a featured kit that is on sale for only a month at a time, one knit and one crochet). We are also very excited about our new section that will be in each newsletter, Crochet Corner, for those customers out there who crochet (where we also spotlight the "crochet kit of the month").
Our newsletter is a way for you to be updated on limited edition yarns and sales that you might not catch otherwise. Since many of our great sale yarns go so quickly, our newsletter gives you a leg up on catching those deals!We keep all of our newsletters on file so be sure to read some of our issues that we've sent out in the past.
Now, your next question might be how to sign up? Well, this post will be a step-by-step guide on how to start receiving our twice-a-month e-mail newsletters, as well as our slowly emerging print catalogs [*hint hint* our next catalog will be focusing on our favorite hand dyed yarns and you will NOT want to miss out on this one!].
Now, step one will be to navigate to our homepage
(www.jimmybeanswool.com). Here is a cute little screen shot for visual effect (and to show off the latest limited edition color...isn't it pretty?) so you can follow along. At the top right hand corner, you'll see the following links to the right of our logo: "Account", "Search", and "Cart".
Click on "Account", which will then take you the a page that looks like this:
Add a new account" from the list below the boxes. This link will take you to a new page where you'll see a few paragraphs detailing all the benefits you'll receive from an account (such as rewards, a free shipping coupon every quarter, and referral bonuses). As you scroll down, there will be a few boxes to input your information. Don't worry-we are just as worried about privacy as you are so our site is extremely secure. We also don't give away or sell any of your information to anyone (we don't like getting unwanted mailings, either!)
So how do you get that newsletter coming to your e-mail? As you're filling in the boxes, you'll see three sections asking you about notification options:
-Email other information
-Mail printed notifications (say yes if you want to check out out catalog!)
After you have all your information in there, simply click "Create account" and, voila! You'll receive one e-mail to verify your e-mail and so you can activate your account.
You can also go through these steps when you place an order! Upon check-out, click "create an account" and follow the same steps above for you to start raking in your rewards bucks and receiving your free newsletter and catalogs!!
