We would like to congratulate Artyarns for being chosen as a participant in American Express's ReBrand Project! ReBrand pairs small businesses with marketing firms (also small businesses) who re-design the business's logo (see the new Artyarns logo above!), produce adds and provide marketing direction. Artyarns was partnered with Officelab who did an absolutely stunning job of creating a brand that truly reflects the "luxury, quality and value" of Artyarns. If you would like to watch video of the process, American Express documented the transformation in three short clips available on their website. I highly recommend it if you have a few minutes, especially if you are a fan of make-over reality TV or just want to know more about Artyarns!
A little bit of Artyarns history (because I know you are as fascinated by anything fiber as I am)! The company was started by Iris and Elliot Schreier when Iris -a celebrated knitwear designer and author- couldn't find the kind of yarn she wanted to work with available on the market. Seizing this unique opportunity to fill a vacant niche in the fiber market, Artyarns was born! The Aryarns mission is to produce "luxury hand-dyed natural yarns in rich colors using only the finest cashmere, silks, mohair, merino wools, and select embellishments", and they do so flawlessly. If you haven't had a chance to work with or even just see and feel Artyarns' yarn in person, look for it next time you are at your LYS or write it down on your birthday wish list. It may be a bit pricier than the average hank, but every inch of sumptuously soft opulent artistry is worth it!

Happy knitting and crocheting!
